Description

It is difficult to make a child understand that they need to wear glasses, especially toddlers when they put their foot down and they refuse. Here are a few tips to help get your child excited about glasses. Let your child have a say in the glasses they will be wearing. If they feel like they picked the glasses out themselves, they are more likely to be proud of them and want to show them off. Remember because children are often tough on their glasses it’s a good idea to purchase a backup pair – especially if the glasses are to be worn full-time. Make this a fun time. Read this book regularly to help with understanding and to encourage bravery.

Children need to taught to be safe and look after their bodies. Brave Books offers a selection of titles in this section that cover the danger of strangers, coping with a traumatic event, how to deal with illness, going to doctors, good touch – bad touch, sex education and many others.
